How does your service work?

By setting goals and planning out a map on how to get to your goals we lay our first yellow brick towards the Emerald city. By taking into account your current state of health we prepare and inform our coaches on how it is you will get there, second brick. Coaches design a program that includes tailored eating regimens and customized workout programs planned around your specific health assessment, third brick. Now that we are this far it is time to start laying more bricks, more often. With your at home nutritional kitchen makeover, customized nutrition plan, assisted grocery shopping, meal planning and assisted meal preparation you have just laid 70% of your yellow bricks and you are now well into your journey toward the Emerald city. Now with your personal fitness coach guiding you and coaching you through the physical exercise, you have just arranged an additional 25% of your bricks. Finally, by following through with your eating regimen and getting in better shape everyday with your coach for 12 weeks you are arranging the final 15% of yellow bricks and will be reaching the Emerald city very soon. Just as Dorthy discovered, all the tools she needed were within herself. You must discover the tools as well.

Beware! Beware of the Wicked Witch of the West (yourself) and her little winged monkeys who try to throw you of track. These little winged monkeys can be unsupportive peers, significant others who don’t respect your goals, or yourself for not wanting to commit 12 honest weeks to yourself. And let’s not forget high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils (Trans fats), fast food and the candy bar section of your local grocer.

What kind of exercise is performed outside?

Exercises include cardiovascular training, resistance training and flexibility practices. As with all exercise, proper form is essential for delivering optimal results and protecting you from injury. Total Outdoor Fitness coaches pride themselves on giving the best possible workouts while making every workout new, exciting and something to look forward to. We will coach you through basic exercise movements to exercises you never knew existed.

What is the cost?

$45-$75 per session. Now before you gawk at the price and say there is no way I can afford that, think about this: The average price nationally for Personal Trainers is $65 dollars a session, and that only includes Personal Training and suggestions to eat right. You may get outsourced to a nutritionist because 88% of trainers have no certification in nutrition which creates the end result of investing more money and time. Now, add the cost of driving to the gym and back, the purchase of the gym membership, the monthly membership fee, and let’s not forget that much anticipated enrollment fee.

Total Outdoor Fitness has no specials or special sales gimmicks. Our prices are straight forward and simple. By limiting our overhead cost’ s we can provide our customers with no enrollment, no monthly membership fee and no contracts while providing you with Grocery Lists, Meal Planning, Assisted Meal Preparation, 100% free Nutritional advice and monthly fitness assessments. Think of it as a five star all inclusive fitness resort.

How soon can I expect results?

Immediately. As soon as you start you will feel more energized and more in control of your life. 1 week out you will see how easy it is to succeed when you chose to be active in pursuit of your goals. You will notice a reduction of weight (2lbs -5lbs), an increase in confidence as well as an increase in your metabolism, which is the rate at which your body burns calories.

3-4 weeks: You will notice that the fat pounds dropped have increased. The exciting part is that you will see a change in the shape of your body. Your body fat % will drop, your cholesterol will begin its drop and you will begin to become n’sync with your coaches training “zone”.

5-6 weeks: With the increase in lean body mass (muscle) your body will be primed to make a significant drop in more body fat while also gaining lean body mass. You will notice that your body is more toned and your waist and other fatty areas are smaller.

6-12 weeks: Expect your confidence to soar as you progressively continue to notice improvements in fat loss, lean body mass, reduction of body fat percentage, and an increase in strength and speed. You will also see an increase in flexibility and a reduction of lower back pain and other postural deviations as your body continues to lengthen and realign it’s self.

Does exercise always take place outdoors?

No. With more than 300 days of sunshine in Colorado, which is more than Miami Beach or San Diego, it will be more than likely. However, workouts are designed around client preference so if you prefer to workout outdoors great, if not, in home workout’s work just as well.
